Wedding Club Associate Packages

The differing levels of involvement in the Wedding Club available for wedding industry suppliers are as follows:

Wedding Club Website Supplier Listing

The benefits to the Supplier will be:

  • Inclusion in the Wedding Club Supplier Listing on the website

The cost of 12 month's inclusion on the Website Supplier listing is usually £25, with a current introductory offer of £10.

Approved Wedding Club Supplier

To become an Approved Wedding Club Supplier, 5 completed recommendation forms need to be provided, please note - follow up calls will be made to the Brides completing the forms. This ensures that all those suppliers we are recommending do provide a high level of service. The benefits to the Approved Supplier will be:

  • Inclusion in the Wedding Club Approved Supplier Listing
  • Editorial on website up to 3 times a year. Copy to be provided
  • Competition or Discount Offer to members via website, up to 3 times a year
  • Only Approved suppliers are invited to present at Reunions.

The cost of 12 month's inclusion as an Approved Supplier is usually £50, with a current introductory offer of £25.

Event Sponsorship

Each event will be sponsored by a supplier, preferably related to one of the items on the event's itinerary. The Event Sponsor must be a Wedding Club Approved Supplier, or a recognized industry expert or manufacturer. The benefits to the sponsor will be

  • Inclusion in all publicity relating to that event.
  • High profile, direct access to target market at event.
  • Flexible involvement in the event as appropriate

The cost of event sponsorship depends on the size of the event and ranges from £100 - 400.

We hope that all the suppliers involved will help us to make membership of this new venture a real must for our local Brides-to-be and are happy to discuss any ideas for event items, additions to members benefits or additional events on top of the bi-monthly re-unions that you believe would help make The Wedding Club the success everyone expects it to be.


Group Advertising

There will also be opportunities for Wedding Club Approved Suppliers to advertise within future Wedding Club adverts within the local wedding press. Further details and pricing to follow.

The Wedding Club is an innovative & fun way of reaching your target market – Brides-to-Be. If you are a forward thinking business, interested in an excellent opportunity to promote you business and to work with other wedding industry suppliers to build your brand, read on……

For a Bride-to-Be, everything wedding related is fascinating, not so however for their friends and relations, who tend to glaze over at the mere mention of wedding gowns, or favours after being subjected to a couple of weeks of wedding gossip.

The Wedding Club will provide the perfect outlet for that pent up wedding fervour. With a room full of Brides-to-Be, Bridesmaids-to-Be and future Mothers of the Bride (or Groom), there will be no shortage of girlies to discuss those all important details, from the choice of your gown to the perfect table decoration.

So what is The Wedding Club? Well, Brides-to-Be, or anyone involved in a wedding's organization, can join the club for either 6 or 12 months. They will receive a joining pack which includes a gorgeous, handbag size personal organizer for their wedding notes and other goodies.

Once a member they can attend the bi-monthly Wedding Club Re-unions, taking along a couple of friends if they prefer. These events will give them the chance to hear from, and meet, top wedding gown designers and other wedding related suppliers; see the latest in bridal fashion; hear the experiences of recent Brides; as well as, of course, meet other Brides-to-Be and exchange ideas. The Re-unions will be interactive and fun, and should not be confused with a wedding fair with static stalls and stands.

As members they will also have access to The Wedding Club website with details of events, hints and tips, supplier reviews, competitions & special offers. And as the Club grows there will no doubt be more and more elements added as the members help to evolve the club with their feedback. There is even talk of a Brides' Ball late 2006, where the Brides can wear their wedding gowns again, but this will depend on the members' response.

Membership will be available from early October 2005, with the first event taking place in late November.

This is a perfect opportunity for wedding industry suppliers to tap into their target market in a variety of ways. We have put together a range of packages which are detailed below, but if none of these packages suit we can discuss your requirements and tailor-make your Wedding Club Associate package. 

 

Market Research

The details of The Wedding Club have been researched formally using a sample of 20 Brides-to-Be from across the UK . We have also informally canvassed the views of approximately 150 Brides-to-Be during their consultations at the Weddings by Victoria Brookes boutique.

The response to both has been exceptionally positive and we have found that the Brides-to-Be are very much looking to interact with others. They want to both share their experiences and find out about new ideas, and hints & tips, from either recent Brides or those currently preparing for their weddings.

Whilst there are many wedding magazines, wedding fairs and wedding web portals available to the girls, none of them truly offer this opportunity to mingle and share ideas.

 

Wedding Club Promotion

The wedding Club will be promoted at the Derby Evening News Wedding Spectacular held twice a year and in the accompanying Supplement included in the Derby Evening News. Attendance is excellent at these events, with between 3,000 & 4,000 people at each event.

Adverts will be placed in local Wedding Specific publications, such as Derbyshire Weddings Today, Staffordshire Wedding Planner etc.

A PR campaign will be on-going, the first confirmed editorial being a double page spread in the Autumn / Winter 2005 Derbyshire Wedding Today. We are also anticipating a small editorial piece in the national wedding publication, Wedding Ideas, a favourite with the Brides.

Links are being established to the Wedding Club website from other relevant wedding industry websites and directories.

Membership forms which include details of the club will be provided to all Approved Suppliers who will be encouraged to support their Associates by encouraging Brides-to-Be to join.

We anticipate word of mouth, as is the case in most wedding related areas, to be particularly important, the success of the early events will therefore be key and we will be ensuring these are well planned with varied & interesting itineraries and venues.
